Whiteley Bank is a little village located in the south east of the Isle of Wight. It is a quaint and charming settlement located in between the larger towns of Godshill and Shanklin and although the village doesn’t have too many attractions, the lovely close-knit community-feel will make you feel right at home. The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary can be found in Whiteley Bank, and makes a perfect day out for the whole family, especially if you have children with you. The sanctuary opened in 1987 to provide a safe and comforting home for donkeys who have lead stressful lives. With two hundred of the creatures calling the sanctuary home, visitors can pet the animals and learn all about them, and whether you are staying in Whitely Bank or passing through it, a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary is a must for all animal lovers!

A karaoke business has its premies in Whitely Bank which could be useful should you plan to have a party on the island when you come. This would be an asset for any hen or stag party. Any remote large rural cottage or farmhouse would be perfect as a party venue on the Isle of Wight because noise would not matter too much if there are no immediate neighbours.
